Plant’s history

1996

Establishing cooperation between the Austrian companies Alfred Wall and Mayr Melnhof.

1997-1998

Erecting a plant called Wall MM Gravure in Stanisławice.

1998

Starting production with the use of one rotogravure press transferred from Graz (Austria)

2000

Starting printing with the use of another rotogravure press transferred from Graz

2001

Taking over 85% of shares in the company Alfred Wall by the American company Westvaco

2001

Taking over the remaining 15% of shares belonging to Mayr Melnhof by Westvaco; the plant’s name changes into Wall Kraków

2002

Merging Westvaco with Mead Corporation; thus, the MeadWestvaco concern is created

2012

Dividing Wall Kraków into the sales section MWV Kraków and production section MWV Manufacturing – Kraków. The plant still remains in the MeadWestvaco structure

2015

Selling the plant to A&R Packaging Group and combining the sales and production sections into one plant called AR Carton Kraków

2015-2016

Building a new production hall

2016

Starting printing with the use of a third rotogravure press transferred from Svitav (the Czech Republic)

2017

Building a new storehouse for printing cylinders

2018

Starting printing with the use of a fourth rotogravure press transferred from Moscow

2020

Changing the name of the plant to AR Packaging Kraków

2021

Selling the plant to Graphic Pakcaging International

2022

Changing the name of the plant to GPI Kraków Sp. z o.o.
